China’s import of corn in September 2017
According to China’s General Administration of Customs, China's corn imports in September are 249,944.256 tonnes, down 33.79% with a reduction of 127,574.041 tonnes against August’s 377518.297 tonnes. However, imports increase by 12 times(230,921.408 tonnes on the increase) from 19,022.848 tonnes attained in September 2016. Overall, China has imported 2,276,059 tonnes of corn from January to August in 2017, plunging 703,385 tonnes(down 23.61%) from 2,979,444 tonnes the same period last year.
