This week (29th Sept-5th Oct), operation rate in oil mills in coastal areas slumps. The rapeseed crush volume in 101 domestic oil mills surveyed by Cofeed has dwindled to 108,990 tonnes, down 28,000 tonnes by 20.4% from 136,990 tonnes last week. Compared to 27.34% last week, the operation rate (capacity utilization) is 21.75% this week, of which it is 1.49% for domestic rapeseed and 50.85% against 64.41% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal areas. Crush volume will dwindle to 101,000 tonnes for dismal rapeseed stock in some mills next week, and will go back to 111,000 tonnes two weeks later with the gradual arrival of rapeseed at port.
