China’s official manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI) stood at 35.7% in February, down sharply by 14.3 percentage points from the previous month; the non-manufacturing PMI at 29.6% in February, down 24.5 percentage points from the previous month, according to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on February 29.
