I. Hog Price
In the week from Mar 22 to Mar 26, China’s hog prices continue the declines. And the average price index nationwide is 26.38 CNY/kg, a drop of 1.06 CNY/kg or 3.90% versus 27.44 CNY/kg last Friday, and a decline of 9.90 CNY/kg or 27.30% compared to 36.28 CNY/kg in the same period last year.

II. Breeding Margins
This week, the breeding margin of purchased piglet is 368.47 CNY per head nationwide, down 98.94 CNY or 21.20% from 467.41 CNY in the previous week and down 930.49 CNY or 71.60% from 1,298.96 CNY a year earlier.
